Q: What determines the price of a lease?
A: There are many factors that determine the lease price including size, location and quality of property.
Q: Is the price per hunter or group?
A: All properties that are listed show the total price for the lease no matter how many hunters you have, up to the max hunters allowed. So for example if you have a $1500.00 lease w/3 hunters, you could split the cost at $500.00 each.
Q: Do I have to purchase my own liability insurance?
A: No, Tall Tine Leasing provides a $2 million dollar liability insurance policy that covers everyone involved with the lease.
Q: Do you charge a membership or insurance fee?
A: No, there are no membership fees and insurance is included with every lease. There are no hidden charges. The price of the lease is what you pay.
Q: How do I view a potential lease?
A: Call or email us and set up an appointment with one of our staff to view the property of your choice. If no one is available we can email you a permission slip to inspect the property on your own.
Q: How many hunters are allowed per lease?
A: The number of hunters allowed per lease is the at the landowners discretion. The lease information on each lease will state the maximum number of hunters allowed on that particular lease.
Q: Will anyone else be able to hunt on the property?
A: No, only people named on the lease will be able to hunt the property.
Q: When does the lease start?
A: The hunting lease begins once the hunters, landowner, and a representative of Tall Tine Leasing signs the lease agreement and payment in full is received. The lease lasts for one year from that date. You will have the first right to renew the lease and if you choose to renew, payment must be received by us two weeks prior to lease expiration as stated in the lease agreement.
Q: Why should I lease with Tall Tine Leasing?
A: There are many reasons to lease through Tall Tine Leasing. Some of the benefits include: We handle all paperwork making it easy for both the lessor and lessee. We've already done the hard part. You don't have to go door to door searching for a lease because we've already done it. Also, anyone who leases from us is covered by our $2 million dollar liability insurance policy.
Q: Are food plots allowed on leased properties?
A: The allowance of food plots will be determined by the landowner. In most cases the lease information will state whether or not food plots are allowed and if there is a designated area.
Q: How do I get on the "Advanced Lease Alert" notification list?
A: You can join the "Advanced New Lease Alert" list by sending a check or money order in the amount of $50.00 to address listed below. Once we recieve and process your payment you will be notified of your placement on the list. You will remain on the "Advanced Lease Alert" list for one year.
Q: Who do I make the payment to?
A: Payments are to be sent to: Tall Tine Leasing LLC, 1957 Krucker Rd. Hamilton, OH 45013. Full payment is due within 10 days of committing to a lease. We accept cashiers or certified checks.
